Today marks 7 years that my beloved Mother passed away. For some reason, this year has hit me harder than previous years. I have been very sensitive and teary all day, full blown crying at least 3 times so far.
Last night I compiled some photos and made a slideshow. Slideshows are one of my favorite things to do on my Mac.

Mom, I will forever love you. You were more than my Mother, you were my friend. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you. I miss you so much. I know you're watching over all of us and your love continues to guide me each and every day. Love you xoxo.

ohhh that was so special ,Simmy. I literally LOL'ed @ the one of you 2 with the Biore strips on your faces! I am so sorry that she's gone and you won't have pix of her with her great grand children. I bet she was a great grand mother to Katy and JR.

Your photos reveal how VERY much you and your sister were loved and that your mom was such FUN!!
My own mother is very frail and I know that she won't be with me much longer. I am dreading the day when she'll be gone. THANK YOU for reminding me to TREASURE her while I can!

So happy to see people are still visiting my blog, even though I haven't updated it. This video still makes me cry !!! My mom was truly the best Mom ever. My parents adopted my older sister and I when they were in their 40's. Older than most people having kids and unable to have their own, they truly cherished being parents. My Dad passed away when my sister and I were 9 and 11 and she took over and raised us so wonderfully as a single parent giving us the best life we could have ever hoped for.
I love her so much. My biggest regret in life is that she is not able to see her grandkids grow up here on earth. I know she watches over us from Heaven though, and continues to live in our hearts every day.
